Fast Sets

Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-10-04

These terms govern the use of Fast Sets. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. What Fast Sets is and who runs it

Fast Sets is a free web service for logging training. It is run by Wenbo Zhou, a private individual living in Spain, as a personal project with no company behind it ("we" in these terms). Contact: fastsetsemail@gmail.com.

Fast Sets has no connection with FitNotes or its makers; it is only compatible with its files.

2. No warranties

Fast Sets is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors, that it will always be available, or that your data won't be lost. It may go down, be slow or have faults.

3. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Nothing in this limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

4. Your account

You must be 16 or older. You are responsible for your password and for what is done with your account: don't share it. If you think someone has got in without permission, change your password, sign out your sessions from Profile and let us know. Invitations are personal.

5. Keep your own copies

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your data. You can download it whenever you like in Statistics → Data. Although we make backups, we don't guarantee that we can recover your data.

6. Your trainer's access

You can give another person, your trainer, access to your account with a one-time code you generate in your Profile. You give it at your own risk and to whoever you choose: we don't check who that person is and we are not liable for what they do with your account. They can log, change and delete your workouts, and import and export your data. You remove their access whenever you like from your Profile.

If you act as a trainer, you agree to use that access only for what your client expects from you and to do nothing else with their data. You must also be 16 or older.

The administrator can enter any account to resolve incidents; the privacy notice explains this.

7. Not medical or training advice

Fast Sets only records and calculates numbers. Records, estimated 1RM and statistics are automatic calculations, not recommendations, and they don't replace a doctor or a professional trainer. Training carries a risk of injury: what you do is your responsibility.

8. Acceptable use and account closure

You may not try to get into other people's accounts, attack or overload the service, use it in an automated or abusive way, get around its limits, or store illegal content. There are technical limits (for example, on sets per account or requests per minute) so the service holds up for everyone.

We may suspend or close an account, without prior notice if needed, for abuse, for breaching these terms, or if it belongs to someone under 16. You can delete your account whenever you like in Profile → "Delete my account".

9. Your data and the software

Your training is yours. You allow us to store it, copy it into backups and show it to you, only to provide the service, as the privacy notice explains. The software, the design and the name "Fast Sets" belong to the person who runs it.

10. Free of charge, and changes to the service

Fast Sets is free. Donations are voluntary and give no right to anything in return. If any part ever became paid, we would say so beforehand and nothing would be charged without your agreement.

We may change, suspend or close the service, or any part of it, at any time. If we close it, we'll give reasonable notice when possible, so you can download your data.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms; the date above shows when they last changed. If the change is significant, we'll try to give notice in advance. If you keep using Fast Sets afterwards, you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the law of your country of residence, and any dispute will be settled before the courts that apply under consumer protection rules. If any part of these terms is not valid, the rest remains in force.
